Chiropractic Care

Chiropractic is a natural method of healthcare that treats the causes of physical problems rather than just the symptoms.  It is based on a simple but powerful premise; with a healthy lifestyle and normally functioning nernes and spine, your body is better able to heal itself.  That is because the spinal cord, which is protected by the spine, is the main pathway of your nervous system.  It controls movement, feeling and function throughout your body.

Dr. Youngblood has six years of professional training in the sciences and healthcare, leading to a Doctor of Chiropractic (D.C.) degree.  His goal is to restore your health and guide you in a personalized approach to overall wellness.

Chiropractic Care for Auto Accident Victims

Headaches, neck pain, mid-back pain and low back pain are common symptoms occurring after auto accidents.  Often aches and pains arrive a week or more after the accident.

Whiplash, which is an injury to the neck, can occur to accident victims even if the collision was of low speed and very little damage was done to the vehicle.

Dr. Youngblood understands auto accident injuries to the soft tissues surrounding the spine and has been successfully treating these types of injuries since 1985.  He has completed advanced training in the diagnosis and management of whiplash injuries through the Spine Research Institute of San Diego, 1994.

Our office has experience in accepting payment directly from your auto insurance company if coverage is available.  We accept major credit cards for payment as well.  We will also work with attorneys on valid cases with a signed lien or letter of protection.

Acupuncture originated as part of traditional Chinese medicine and has bee practiced for thousands of years.  Dr. Youngblood is a certified acupuncture therapist and has been successfully treating patients wih acupuncture since 1985.

What is Acupuncture?
Acupuncture is the insertion of ultra-thin, sterile needles into specific acupuncture points on the body.  The acupuncture points are located along pathways of energy (called Chi) which connect the interior of the body with the exterior of the body.  Acupuncture points, when needled, can affect the function of the body, such as increasing circulation, balancing hormone levels, or relaxing muscle tension and reducing the heart rate.  Acupuncture is also widely used in the reduction of pain and inflammation associated with muscle and joint disorders.  The exact way in which acupuncture works is not yet understood, but many scientists and doctors believe it works by triggering response through the body's nervous system.

Acupuncture is used in this office primarily for the treatment of chronic pain management, headaches, shoulder and knee pain, nausea, failed back surgeries, nerve disorders and infertility.  Our desk staff will schedule a consultation appointment with Dr. Youngblood for acupuncture inquiries.
